We’re incredibly grateful to announce that Issue 16 has passed for Medina City Schools. It was a close election, and every single vote made a difference in securing the funding our schools need to continue offering vital programs.
Thanks to your support, we’re able to preserve:
Neighborhood Schools: Keeping our elementary schools intact and fostering a strong sense of community.
AP and Gifted Programs: Providing opportunities for students to reach their highest potential.
Extracurricular Activities and Athletics: Enriching student life with programs that support a well-rounded education.
Qualified Teachers and Staff: Retaining the dedicated professionals who guide and support our students every day.
This victory is an important step forward, but it doesn’t resolve the ongoing issues with state funding. We will continue to inform our community about these challenges and advocate for sustainable changes at the state level.
Kids First Medina remains committed to the success of our students and the strength of our schools. Together, we’re building a bright future for our children and community. Let’s keep working to make Medina the best it can be, for today and for generations to come.
